British Values

We want students to appreciate different perspectives and take an active role in engaging with their local community. From writing letters to our partnerships schools, to contacting our local councillor on issues of local importance. We want our Crown Hills community to be active citizens, to contribute positively to society, providing students different opportunities to help better understand just how rich and diverse our school and the area that we are living is, and to celebrate this.

Opportunities for students:

  • Annual trips to cultural and historical British sites of importance

  • British Values assemblies

  • Subject specific trips and visits

All 300 students at Key Stage 3 will visit the London Eye, Hunstanton and Chatsworth House, all paid for by the college. These are all valuable experiences that we feel our students should have as they form part of the journey for them to be able to take on the world!
